The perfume and the Bible

Today we have some beautiful quotes on the blog about perfume in the biblical context. This post is meant only to honor the aromas in the Bible, preaching is not one, but revel in the words and the perfume that they represent, something will touch your heart and enlarge your faith. In many instances the blog, as some previous dialogues between perfumes and other writings are listed as perfume is a living organism, interacting with life in various ways. The Bible is one of the most beautiful books with quotes about the aromas, beyond the balm of comforting words, faith and love. To quote the main, I selected the books of Proverbs, Psalms and Song of Songs, respectively, wisdom, love and praise; great virtue for any human being. These books express a fascinating poetry embedded in words, as recorded in Psalm 45:7-8 "You love righteousness and hate wickedness: therefore God, thy God has chosen you from among your companions by anointing you as the oil of gladness . All thy garments smell of myrrh exude, aloe and cassia, the palaces adorned with ivory resonate the strings that make you happy. " Beautiful piece, more beautiful than it would now receive the oil of myrrh and frankincense poured over his head as an anointing of God. Be Blessed (a) and remember "we are a fragrance to God" (2 Corinthians 2:15).

"Scent of my bed with myrrh, aloes and cinnamon. Come, let us get drunk till dawn caresses" (Proverbs 7: 17)
"Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart, the council's sincere man is born a beautiful friendship" (Proverbs 27: 9)
"The fig tree produces fruit early, vines and flowers spread their fragrance." (Song of Solomon 2: 13)
"How delicious are your love, my sister, my bride! His strokes are more pleasant than the wine and the fragrance of your perfume surpasses that of any spice! .. The fragrance of your garments is like the fragrance of Lebanon." (Song of Songs 4: 10-11)
"His cheeks are like a garden of spices that exude perfume, your lips are like lilies, myrrh" (Song of Solomon 5:13)
"The mandrakes give her perfume, and on our doorstep there are all kinds of fruits fine, dry and fresh, I have booked for you, my beloved" (Song of Songs 7: 13)
